Product overview
The Astrea armchair blends an enveloping backrest with a separate cushion system, designed by Joe Colombo for outdoor settings. The shell supports independent, fully removable cushions and offers a sculptural presence suitable for terraces, patios and contract design projects. Intended for outdoor use while requiring limited exposure to aggressive atmospheric agents.

Materials and construction
Single-piece fibreglass structure, hand-laid in a single mould with individual extraction of components. External shell finished in glossy white or glossy black Gelcoat; metallic finishes (bronze, grey, blue) are hand-painted and oven-cured. Cushions are independent blocks of polyurethane foam with varying thicknesses, covered in Dacron. Cushion covers are fully removable. Do not expose the product to prolonged adverse weather conditions or to heat sources above 40°C; even outdoor-rated products can be affected by atmospheric agents.
