Charming table lamp made from 3-layered opal glass on a premium wooden stand, either walnut or oak. Designed by Bent Karlby in 1971, ERGO brings ambient lighting and plenty of character anywhere it’s placed. 1971 Origin story True to its 1970s space-age heritage, the first ERGO lamps came in popping colors and were made entirely from plastic. While retaining its characteristic design language, ERGO has grown into a premium piece of lighting design. The plastic materials have now given way for a 3-layered opalized glass core and a colored glass shade.
