ESSENCE in the new sauna by Makro displaying a contemporary architecture of impact and a pure and essential design, conceived according to project quality and environmental-friendly criteria. It is a sophisticated wellness area suitable for both the private and the professional sector. The distinctive proportions and the detail care are the main features of ESSENCE, together with design, technique and functionality. A distinguishing feature is the full-height wooden frame of the door, a valuable technical solution resulting in lights and shades and precise graphic lines, and at the same time integrating the opening system of the pivoting glass door, featuring pureness and elegance. The light and extended handle reflects the coherence and style of the sauna. The inside space, soberly elegant, has been conceived to allow different project solutions according to the combination of empty and full spaces of the thick technical walls and to the arrangement of the seats. The floor consists in small slats of impact. Makro reinterpreted some typical accessories in a contemporary way: the small bucket – cylinder in wood with hide handle, the round headrest in wood and the distinctive air intakes. All these details have been exclusively designed for ESSENCE. ESSENCE is available in several sizes and typologies and in the natural finishes of natural and thermo-treated Hemlock or Red Cedar. The woods used by Makro derive from areas of reforestation programs.
