Via del Corso is the centre of life in historical Rome. Meeting at the Piazza Venezia with its three-sided roundabout and monumental churches “the Corso” is impressive. Yabu Pushelberg’s lounge chair has the same purposeful and imposing profile as the via but is balanced by soft curves and a lightness from its floating feet.
The Via del Corso is constructed close to it’s namesake by Italian craftspeople who are expert in the delicate task of fitting your fabric or leather upholstery of choice around the lounge chair’s curves with double stitching on a wood frame. Originally placed in the tearoom of the Rosewood Hotel Hong Kong, these chairs make sitting elegantly and comfortably not mutually exclusive.
