Design Marcello Morandini MM80 is the declination of a very precise style, that of the master M.M, in a single object with an equally distinct outline. More than a handle, it’s an invitation to see, touch, open a door and experience that magical moment of waiting, of emotional tension that pushes us further. Through the pure tones of black and white, and in that harmony existing between the solids and the voids of its regular forms, the gesture plays itself out. It is a rigorously designed object in which Marcello Morandini pushes the boundaries and synthesizes the disciplines that have always been central to his work: namely those of visual art, design and architecture. "In art I use the colours of black and white, like handwriting on a sheet of paper, where to read and to understand requires no added chromatic values, and where form is able to to uniquely relate its beauty."
