Finishing treatments facilitate maintenance and increase strength. Some of MA’s Materials, like wall concrete or clay, require no finishing and can be left bare. But for many others, such as micro-mineral concrete, finishing plays an essential role for the protection and beauty of the material. Wax or varnish give patina to the material and determine its matt, satin or gloss aspect. A good finish is an essential element for the sustainability of a coating, and allows easy maintenance. MA’s varnishes, in aqueous phase and certified A +, are suitable to each application. High performance varnishes, highly resistant to stains, are dedicated to intensive uses (shops, restaurants, kitchens, bathrooms). Patinas, varnishes and coloured mineral impregnators allow to play on decorative effects. Clean raw concrete using new concrete floor acidic cleaner. Repair varnished concrete using 120-grade sandpaper. Apply impregnator to seal open substrates.
