Description

Finishing treatments facilitate maintenance and increase strength. Some of MA’s Materials, like wall concrete or clay, require no finishing and can be left bare.
But for many others, such as micro-mineral concrete, finishing plays an essential role for the protection and beauty of the material. Wax or varnish give patina to the material and determine its matt, satin or gloss aspect. A good finish is an essential element for the sustainability of a coating, and allows easy maintenance. MA’s varnishes, in aqueous phase and certified A +, are suitable to each application. High performance varnishes, highly resistant to stains, are dedicated to intensive uses (shops, restaurants, kitchens, bathrooms). Patinas, varnishes and coloured mineral impregnators allow to play on decorative effects.

Fields of use:
Mineral impregnation for MA's high-performance self-levelling floor mortar, MA's smooth finish mortar and concrete screed suitable for traffic.
It can be applied as a more or less transparent finish based on the appearance of the concrete and the effect sought.
Composition:
Dual floor-silicate binder compliant with AFNOR standard 30808 Family 1 - class1b1 (organic shares 5%).
Properties:
Hides defective appearance and enhances (mineral matt appearance, very bright).
Boosts the surface hardness.
Protects from run-off water, the penetration of harmful substances and carbonation and chalking.
Encourages the evacuation of the residual humidity from concretes thanks to its exceptional permeability to water vapour.
Water repellent, excellent resistance to UV.
Ecological, solvent- and VOC-free.
Algicide and germicide properties.
