Locus Ladder is designed by the Danish architect Eva Harlou, CEO at Earth Studio. Locus is the Latin word for “place/space” and embodies aesthetics in a multifunctional storage furniture in the shape of a ladder. The piece has little functional limits and comes with a canvas saddle bag suitable for storage. Locus is made from FSC certified wood from well-managed forestry, with brass hooks and brass details which adds luxury to the organic wooden furniture. Locus is a playful yet sculptural piece for both private residential and hospitality. It is as strong as the well-known gym ladder and suitable for kids playing as well as daily exercise. The design supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals of protecting “Life on Land” (SDGs 15), “Responsible Consumption and Production” (SDGs 12) and “Partnership for the Goals” (SDGs 17).
