It has the appearance of a leaf and the resistance of a lime tree: Tilia senior is a multipurpose support. Hand made entirely of ceramic with crystalline glaze and fired at high temperatures, it can be useful in the kitchen to protect tables and delicate surfaces from dishes or pots that are hot. Handy thanks to the circular perforated handle, the support can be anchored to the wall as a decorative element and unhooked if necessary: it can also serve as a small tray. Its dimensions are approximately 27 × 25 cm. The bas-relief engravings, which allude to the pinnate ribs of the lightly corded leaf, heart-shaped like that of the lime tree, serve to create friction on a predominantly smooth surface.
