The name Libro Verticale comes from the peculiar angle on the shelf, slightly tilted back so that books, catalogues and objects never fall, always preserving a vertical position.
The apparent rigidity of a modular structure created by the intersection of tubular elements reveals itself as part of a creative project highly customizable, starting from the logo.
Important is the presence of a series of functional elements identical in shape and material, but variable in colors and location, which create different solutions from time to time transforming a classic bookcase into a living and changing furniture element.
Libro Verticale has been conceived as a wall modular bookcase: the fixing place with the MEME company logo is provided with 4 fishers which allow the whole structure to be adherent to the wall.
However, according to people’s needs, Libro Verticale can also be placed to the ground, showing its extraordinary adaptability.
The standard version is provided with 4 removable shelves that can be mounted with different angles. It is possible to choose a single color both for the supporting base and for the shelves, or different colors to differentiate the base from the shelves.
Furthermore, there’s the chance to purchase an extra shelf to be mounted in the central space (the one where you can see the fixing plate to fix the bookcase on the wall).
For contract projects, it is possible to realize a custom fixing plate by using the logo of the installation structure.
Libro Verticale is designed by the architect Ernesto Maria Giuffré.
