Wallcovering produced on a mylar base, a thin sheet of silver metal, to achieve a subtle satin effect, the technique of digital printing has then made it possible to achieve a very realistic reproduction of a series of vintage photographs, which recall the world of African safaris in the 1920s. The word safari comes rightly from the Swahili for: ‘long journey’. Originally a land-based exploratory expedition, by 1910/1920 this term was used for a trip to hunt big game in Africa. These days, a Safari is a tourist trip in the national parks of East Africa, (such as Tanzania) or Southern Africa.
