Cold-drawn special profiles Cold-drawn steel profiles are created by Montanstahl using an exact form giving aftertreatment of precedently hot-rolled steel profiles. Thereby, a profile is initially brought into the desired shape by rolling processed leaving excess material. Subsequently, the profile is drawn though a very exact matrix with high longitudinal traction. This creates a profile with very tight tolerances and a flat surface. This manufacturing process is available for normal construction and stainless steel.
