Moreschi presents the Calematic safety system, a simple and automatic system that combines with the set-up of the loading points guaranteeing maximum safety in every loading and unloading situation. An indispensable system for the company that pays attention to the mandatory regulations on work safety, installed with Moreschi loading points combines quality and safety together. The Calematic safety system is a kit consisting of a prefabricated concrete pit and iron wedges moved by pneumatic pistons. It must be installed in front of the loading bays and its wedges must stand up and lock the wheels of the vehicles during work. The pit is already supplied as standard in a single block with seats for the wedges in the upper part; in the heads of the lower part, there are special holes for the passage of compressed air pipes and for the drainage of rainwater. The wedges are made of steel sheet 10 mm thick. Hot-dip galvanised; they are driven by strong hydraulic cylinders with a diameter of 63 mm. Each system needs a pressure of 6 Bar that feeds the cylinders themselves. The configuration can be 8 wedges in a single pit working on one side of the truck; or 5+5 wedges, in two separate pits, on both sides of the truck.
