’Armada’ is a sculptural seating collection that was designed for open work and lounge spaces. The blown forms of the armchairs billow out from the seat like wind filled sails, creating a sense of lightness and movement, while providing degrees of privacy and seclusion. The form language explores the use of surface and volume through a combination of thin upholstered sides with voluminous soft cushions on the inside providing comfort for working on the move. The collection consists of a high and low back armchair and a fully upholstered dining chair on a pedestal. Armchairs in a ranges of sizes with high or low back and a dining chair. Injected flame-retardant polyurethane foam over internal steel frame. Armchair legs are steel with powder coat finish in colors shown; dining chair base is fully upholstered. Covers are not removable.
