In Archive II Prints, the studio have created five fabrics that blend faithful reproductions from the original archive with new adaptations of William Morris's tapestry and typographical designs. This collection embodies the very essence of Morris & Co. whilst appealing to a 21st century audience. Digital technology has been applied to fabric printing for the first time in the history of the company, marking a new chapter in the story of Morris & Co. View the complementary Archive II Wallpapers collection. This cotton fabric, designed in 2013 by Alison Gee, pays tribute to Morriss many skills as a writer, poet and typographer. With the title phrase from the play of the same name printed in the Morris typeface from the Kelmscott Press, it celebrates the work of the company where exquisite books that rank very highly in the history of printing were produced from 1891. This 100% cotton upholstery fabric is available in optimistic pastel colourways.
