Public swimming pool bulkhead

Natare manufactures the largest and most technologically advanced pool bulkheads in the world. Our bulkheads are one-piece self-supporting stainless steel structures that span the width of a swimming pool, creating a movable bridge. This allows a single large pool to be divided into multiple pools to accommodate two aquatic events simultaneously. The top and sides of the pool bulkhead are covered in ASTM certified slip-resistant grating that allows complete flow-through capability for wave absorption during competitive swimming. This material is also used to provide a safe walking and turning surface. Natare bulkheads can be easily repositioned to accommodate imperial or metric competition courses. They can also be used as activity dividers, stations for competition officials, and other functions. Features of a Custom Natare Bulkhead: •Wave-quelling, flow-through openings at the water’s surface. •Will not wear, yellow, or delaminate; No re-coating or painting is necessary. •Slip-resistant lane targets. •Recessed handholds, rope-hooks, and anchors reduce the danger of injury to swimmers. •The carriage assembly provides support and allows access to the locking mechanisms, movement controls, and buoyancy flotation system. •Stainless steel truss sections and stainless steel profiles cover all bulkhead edges.
