Description
A facing brick with pink and red
Robinia of Nelissen Brickworks is a hand-moulded brick from the Nuance range. The facing brick is non-perforated and sanded on five sides. Robinia is provided with an oblong sloping groove on one flat side (frog, group 1). The structure is formed by a rough appearance with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under a slightly reducing atmosphere.
Robinia is characterized with a pink surface. The colour shades show a pastel-coloured shade going from orange-red to purple-red, interspersed with yellow and grey-blue nuances. All this in a certain proportion.
