The facing brick that is just as unique as you
The surface of the facing brick is green-grey. The different types of sand and the process of braising provides colours varying from light-grey to dark grey with green deposits.
This hand-moulded facing brick is made from Löss from Limburg, extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley and revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel. The facing brick (non-perforated) is sanded on five sides and provided with an oblong sloping groove on one flat side. The structure has a rough appearance with fine and irregular grooves in the sandy surface. The baking process is done in a gas-fired tunnel kiln under slightly reducing atmosphere.
