The brick with yellow to pale pink tints
The Rubio is a hand-moulded brick of Nelissen Brickworks produced from Löss from Limburg. The brick is extracted from the plateau of Kesselt in the Meuse valley. The brick is revalued with raw materials from the Volcanic Eifel. The non-perforated hand-moulded brick has a yellowish surface. The stone is available in colour shades going from yellow to pale pink. The Rubio is sanded on five sides with fine silver sand and provided with an oblong sloping groove on one flat side (frog, group 1). Rubio is part of the Pastel range of Nelissen Brickworks.
