Product informationThe NIBE UKV is a series of buffer vessels designed for connection to heat pumps to increase system volume and optimise heat pump operation. The UKV series also helps to reduce temporary temperature and flow spikes that can occur during thermal transients in the pipework. Standard nominal volumes include 40, 100, 200, 300 and 500 litres; a broader range is indicated by the UKV 20-1000 designation.
Benefits / Functional highlights- Provides large buffer volume to stabilise heat pump cycling
- Expands system volume to improve hydraulic balance
- Equalises flow and temperature to avoid temporary heat spikes
- Condensation-insulated variants available for systems with active cooling (UKV 200 COOL, UKV 300 COOL)
Available variants (as listed)- NIBE UKV 40
- NIBE UKV 100
- NIBE UKV 200 COOL
- NIBE UKV 300 COOL
- NIBE UKV 500
- NIBE UKV 20-1000
