Nidaplast RA lightweight embankments are extremely light and resistant. Its applications are numerous, including compressible soil areas, landslide zones… Furthermore, this solution limits vertical and lateral forces exerted on engineering structures, buildings or retaining walls, helping to optimise and reduce the cost of structures supporting the embankment. Absorbing water level fluctuations within the embankment The honeycomb blocks, large in size and extremely light, are suitable for the construction of large-volume worksites. Thanks to their cellular structure, water can circulate inside the blocks, meaning they are not subject to buoyancy forces. They are ideally suited for installation in wet areas without load transfer.
