Akalla is a shading structure with oiled oak beams supported by black steel posts. A version with a plywood parts is available to provide support for a roof of corrugated metal, plastic or sedum. The system can easily be expanded and supplemented with additional sections. While Akalla provides an ideal spot for enjoying a garden or outdoor courtyard, it can also be used for storing bicycles and recycling bins.

Assembly and placement
Poles, trellises, over-lignite and pergola bars are supplied separately.
Poles are measured and anchored to the ground.
Trellises are mounted against the posts and the associated screw.
The uppers are screwed against the posts with the screws and angular fittings attached.
The pergola booms are screwed against the uppers using the screws and angular fittings supplied.

The posts are attached to the place-cast foundations and anchored with kemankare (not included on delivery).
Maintenance
Oak is oiled one to two times per season.
Over time, the oak ages and becomes beautifully gray-silvery color.
Variants
Akalla is a pergola system that can be expanded. The start section has the measurements above. There are extension kits for longer variants. Body sections and trellis sections are ordered separately. Standard steel color, black RAL 9005
