With its bicycle bollard Hook, in only hot-dip galvanized steel, Note design studio has experimented with the visual experience of a bicycle rack. Depending on the viewers point of view, Hooks three-dimensional shape is changeable in its expression. Like a bent sheet of paper, the bicycle bollard is almost invisible from the side, but viewed from the front it takes the form of a central actor in the street space. The ability to change shape means that Hook can function as a space-forming tool in the urban environment as well as a perfect place to park your bicycle. With its functional simplicity, Hook has a friendly and calm expression that contrasts with the sometimes tough urban environment.
