Kanu is a series of distinctive, moulded plywood lounge armchairs. Designed for use in lounges, offices, public and domestic interiors.
- Entire armchair, including the base, is made of plywood, cut from flat plywood and given a specific edge radius for consistency of design.
- The base features wide, sloping legs painted black for depth and elegance, creating a dynamic interplay of light and enhancing the armchair's shape.
- Designed by Tomasz Augustyniak, the Kanu armchair originated from the idea of using rectangular plywood bent in one plane with a radius of 500 mm, leading to a logical and cohesive product design.
There is also a version of the Kanu armchair on a metal base, visually light with an industrial character, making it a striking design element in various interiors.
- Available with different frames and two different backrests: a fully elliptical one and one with a beautifully undercut arch.
- Can feature an upholstered pad on the seat and/or backrest.
- Offers an impressive range of options in various styles.
