Ralla is an electric turntable designed for very narrow spaces where vehicle manoeuvring is practically impossible, allowing a parked car to be rotated through 360° to facilitate exit. It is available in different diameters and capacities (up to 8 meters diameter and up to 8 tons) and can be supplied with remote control.
Main structural elements- Four platform wedges
- Four wheel guides embedded in the structure
- A connection structure engaging the underlying circular rack
- Cover panel for the connection structure
- Motor assembly (gearmotor)
Platform construction and wheelsThe platform is divided into wedge-shaped sections. Each section is fitted with four polyurethane wheels to minimise unsupported areas, avoid platform deformation under uneven loads and reduce noise. Wheels are mechanically pinned and fastened to a U-shaped structure welded to the platform.
Connection structure and coveringThe connection structure is consolidated by a cross-shaped element welded on the top. Once the four platform wedges are engaged with this structure, a cover panel closes the assembly to provide a uniform finish.
Pit edging and guidesThe pit edging profile also functions as the wheel track, protecting wheels from wear on concrete. Each edging segment has a flange to secure it to the next, creating a continuous guide; iron consolidation pieces can be welded to the back of the guide for anchoring to concrete.
Motor assembly, rotation pin and pinionThe central rotation pin is mounted on the motor assembly and fitted with thrust bearings to absorb compressive loads from weight. The connection structure snaps onto this central pin. The gearmotor supports the rotation pin and is designed for easy installation to avoid coupling errors. The rotation pinion is coupled to the turntable’s circular rack by sliding the gearmotor assembly forward/back via slots and locking with securing bolts; slots also permit lateral and fore/aft adjustment.
Maintenance and controlsOne platform wedge includes an inspection hatch for motor access and maintenance. The control panel is a pushbutton unit with clockwise/counter-clockwise buttons, an emergency stop and a safety key. Remote control is available as an option.
