Cubes are made from marble blocks and may have a sawn top surface. The sides are split. They are produced in different sizes and thicknesses. The product has always been widely used for the paving of urban centres. Matched with stone of various colours, Carrara marble cube plays a complementary role in creating sophisticated geometrical figures and ornaments (a peacock's tail, alternating arcs, themed designs and symbols, etc.). In common usage it is traditionally used for ground signs for parking areas, cycle paths, pedestrian areas, and in any case wherever necessary to create contrasting bands or demarcation along pedestrian paths or driveways.
