Sandstone paving blocks, which have a parallelepiped shape, have a natural upper face with parallel sides and cut off kerbs, generally orthogonal to the plane or slightly undercut. Historically used for containment and the flat delimitation of cube paving and malls, paving blocks are also widely used as specific material for paving where aesthetic aspects are combined with the need for good strength characteristics.
