Through No Smoking project Officine Tamborrino explores all the features of paper by producing an object which combines design and sculpture. Through a recycling process which makes production sustainable, paper becomes solid like wood again and provides amazing and innovative aesthetical results. Paper mixture is applied to moulds as if it was cement, then it slowly cools and hardens to become the “skin” of No Smoking seat, uniquely and proudly and ethically integrated with nature rhythms.
