The EG series extruded aluminum egg-crate grilles are manufactured via dovetail style pressure locking. The minimum bar spacing is 1-1/2” centers and up to 12” centers. The spacing can yield square or rectangular openings. Also, the spacing can be consistent or varied between two openings to provide a double-barreled grille. The pressure lock method of manufacturing provides a strong and durable connection without any welding that will not rattle in the wind. Depending on your application there are several different frame options and recommended means of attaching EG panels to your façade or structure. The bar sizes will always be equal and can be as small as 1/8” x 1-1/2” and up to ¼” x 6”, the EG bars makes for a very strong product, capable of long spans and meeting most wind load requirements. Made typically from corrosion resistant, tempered aluminum it is a product that will last for years and years. Alternate options can be manufactured in carbon or stainless steel. Aluminum allows for a weather resistant mill finish or you can select an anodized, PVDF or polyester powder coat finish to tailor the DG product to your specific job.
