is a product that has been specially studied to neutralise rust and to transform it, once dry, into an inert, repaintable composite. Novalis Rust converter protects the underlying surface and blocking the process of corrosion. It is ideal for use on fences, gates, railings and objects made in iron. It has a low odour level, is non inflammable and is friendly to both humans and the environment. Ideal use On rusty iron surfaces, on the interior and exterior. Surface preparation Clean the surface with a wire brush removing all flakes of loose rust and existing coats of paint. Traces of grease or dirt must be removed using suitable products. Application method NOVALIS RUST CONVERTER can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun (1.3 mm nozzle) and starts to act as soon as it is applied on to the surface. Once dry, the surface takes on a dark brown colour. A single application is sufficient. Avoid applying the product on hot surfaces (never above 40°C). Cover the application of NOVALIS RUST CONVERTER from water and rain. Paint over within 24 – 36 hours. Pour the product into non metal containers. Any marks left can be removed using a solution of bleach and water.
