The Modernton is available as an electric heated towel rail, a conventional hot water plumbed into the central heating system and a dual fuel option using an electric heated element whilst plumbed in to the system. Manufactured in England using 1 ¼” (32mm) brass tube for its outer legs and 7/8” (22mm) brass tube for its inner rails. The outer rail cuffs are milled and sculpted to sit around the 1 ¼” (32mm) tube which are then soldered together, for the inner 7/8” (22mm) tube rails to sit into. The tube legs are mitred and hand soldered together for a seamless minimal corner. The electric heated towel rail option uses a low-energy trace-heating cable fitted inside of the rails that exits through a wall mount into the wall, completely hidden. Using the electric heated towel rail makes the Modernton a perfect electric towel rail for bathrooms, as it requires no extra valves or cover shrouds, allowing the Modernton to retain its minimal style.
