Coppice is a stand-alone, single occupancy work booth that provides a high level of acoustic comfort, increasing the productivity of those doing focused work tasks. Where work requires high levels of concentration and focus, Coppice is the ideal solution, offering differently configured personal booths designed to combat noise distractions in the open-plan workplace. Coppice has been meticulously designed so that a small number of components can facilitate a wide range of configurations, providing varying degrees of privacy to suit different tasks. Five key smart panels can be combined to suit multiple scenarios and offer diverse planning options, each of which allows for the creation of a density of ‘private space’ within a small footprint. Coppice’s compact footprint and, on larger configurations, option of sharing panels makes the best use of available space, while it’s organic shape ensures maximum privacy. Despite its relatively small number of components, Coppice can be configured in a number of different ways to suit the task in hand, the space in which it’s being used, and the privacy levels required. Coppice work booths offer a stripped-down palette of materials and colours, it’s exposed birch plywood panels, finished with a natural lacquer, are complimented by the Orangebox anthracite pressed polyester felt panels. The felt panels not only have excellent acoustic properties, they also obviate the need for additional foams and fabrics on the main boards.
