The grandstand seat with 11 cm folding back is moulded from polypropylene copolymer with anti-UV treatment to prevent ultraviolet rays from corroding the colour. The grandstand seat is class 1 flame retardant according to current legislation and has a bright, glossy surface set off by the smooth lines of the support ribbing in the seat surface. Any rain or cleaning water drains away via a series of elliptic slits in the seat surface. The grandstand seat has been tested for a degree of mechanical strength far above the EN 12727/00 standards. There are three anchor points for installation: two on the seat surface, one at the front on the front ribbing, to make it vandal-proof. The anchor fixture normally requires nylon expansion bolts with stainless steel screws. There is no metal support frame.
