Project Feature
Standing over the Milan Porta Garibaldi railway station in the major real estate development areas of Garibaldi Repubblica and Porta Nuova, the two towers inevitably turn heads with their architectural elegance. The overall architectural envelope includes a 25,000 sqm (269,000 sq ft) surface area, 10,000 sqm (107,600 sq ft) of which was built using a compact double skin Interactive Wall®. Architectural requirements dictated the unusual geometry of the external skin on the main façade, giving the two, practically identical towers an undeniably innovative look. Moreover, design of the main façade made it possible to develop a sophisticated Media Façade system with a LED screen inserted into the space between the double skins, thus making it possible to look at the outside, even from those areas containing the screen itself.
