Description

The beauty of early 20th century worn marble on ceramic tiles. The latest collection by furniture and interior designer Francisco Segarra, designed exclusively for Peronda, takes a new look at classic Macael and Marqina marble, used so often as flooring in the past. As with terrazzo tiles, with the emergence of new industrial/vintage trends, this original looking flooring from bygone days has made a comeback. Not only have these types of marble been revived but also their traditional format and even typical layouts. In a square format, these highly original marble tiles were used to create checkerboard or other patterns and geometrical shapes in different shades, such as black, white or grey. Hence FS OMEYA’s porcelain tiles come in a 33x33cm format to fit in with projects of all kinds, emulating the added beauty that the real marble acquires with the passage of time. FS OMEYA comes in over 30 different designs and three inter-combinable colours: white, grey and black.
