All the charm of an old, fine quality technique, the capitonné manufacturing, is revived in the ceramics of this collection of classic taste but with a timeless yet modern appeal: Capitonné transforms the room into something unique with great character, inspired by elements of fashion and furnishings from the 19th century. Style is a question of relief. Soft tactile charm, strong metallic reflections tricks with the light highlight the structure of the spaces; the combination of rhomboid tiles curved and flat – in white, vanilla and mother of pearl – and insets, curved or flat, creates pleasant contrasts between the colours, in the same way as the laying pattern with smooth-edged mouldings. The special editions within the collection are also available in gold and are all hand made, like the ceramics.
