Janne Uusi-Autti is a designer with a background in engineering and sailing. My light idea: A thin sheet of wood creates organic light. My design: I always search for something new and different. I want to be open with my design approach and not just concentrate on current trends, like architectural minimalism. My design goal is achieved, when a shape has some soul and beauty. Sailing is one of my passions and one of the sources of inspiration in my designs. Lightness and precision describe my design language. My design process often starts from a new technical solution, which leads the development of the final shape.
