MECHANICAL STRENGTH The manufacturing process does not change the mechanical properties of timber. Our timber is compliant with CE marking. DURAPIN opens up the use of timber to a great number of applications, including external structures. HQE APPROACH Our timber is preserved effectively and safely (health, hygiene and the environment). The products used are certified CTB P+, mentioned in the HQE standards. Safety Data Sheets are available upon request. At the end of its life, DURAPIN, is considered a non-hazardous waste. ABUNDANT TIMBER SPECIE Pine makes up 16% of the French forests area. In France, and more broadly in Europe, harvested timber is less than the biological production of forests. Harvesting represents only 60% of its annual growth. The controlled management of Pine promotes the renewal of our forests. MONITORED RESOURCES In most European forests, reforestation and logging are carried out in accordance with the life-cycle of the forest. The PEFC (Programme Européen des Forets Certifiées) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifications certify the sustainable management of forests.
