Almo, designed by the duo García Cumini, is a sofa that prioritises total comfort, a welcoming and protective haven in which to take refuge, leaving your everyday troubles and worries outside. Its name comes from almohada, a traditional Spanish cushion whose long, slender and fairly shallow design also makes it a practical lumbar cushion and armrest.
Almo multiples the visual effect of the cushion in terms of depth, creating a harmonious rhythm of horizontal lines.
The Almo sofa can be upholstered entirely in Pelle Frau® leather or, alternatively, in leather for the structure and fabric for the cushions and seat. All of the stitching is tone-on-tone. The lumbar cushion, armrests and backrest are padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Structure in birch plywood, poplar and tulip wood for the backrest and armrests. For the sofa seat, solid beech and poplar, birch plywood for the sides and MDF infill. Front band in tulip wood. Metal details with gunmetal grey finish applied to the sides of the frame under the seat.
Pelle Frau® Color System is a fine leather in 96 different shades dedicated to those who love the color vocabulary, in an excellent balance between strength and naturalness.
Pelle Frau® Nest is full color and "one thousand dots" effect.
Pelle Frau® Soul enhances the sensorial characteristics of the leather and the softness of the material.
