Functionality and aesthetics came together to create Aksel, a contemporary and essential desk that is also rich in details to enhance its uniqueness. The distinctive feature of Aksel is the structure of the top divided in two sections separated by a cut that allows to combine different materials: the main section of the top is always in canaletta walnut, while the back section is available in marble or Plus leather with colours from the collection. The groove between the two sections of the top allows for the insertion of an oval pencil holder and a round organiser, both lacquered with Champagne finish, and for the passage of cables for electronic devices. A drawer, on the right or left side, makes Aksel a functional desk, with a design attentive to structural and aesthetic details. The 2024 collection also includes the Aksel Lamp to complete the desk with a light source. The diffuser is made of white opal etched glass – to adapt to any interior design need and any finish of the desk – while the base is made of rigid Baydur polyurethane with Champagne finish to match the pencil holder and the organiser.
