CLB30 Hadra Lamp - Bloomsbury with New Bronze Base H.465mm/18 1/4", W.130mm/5" With 13" Bongo Shade, H.770mm/30 1/4", W.330mm/13" Named after the Greek word for vase, this classic shape sits proudly on a New Bronze base which provides a worthy plinth for the 'volcanic slip' glaze inspired by the potter Lucy Rie. The unique technique of applying glazes by hand rather than dipping them builds up micro-variations in the finish and allows for eruptions of mesmerising colour and texture. Almost lichen-like, the effect is that of an object left out in the elements.
