Poterie Goicoechea was established in 1960 from the hand of Jean-Baptiste Goicoechea. 50 years later, Poterie Goicoechea create and make models from classical to contemporary style.
The traditional know-how, passion and quality are behind the family’s prestige.
Poterie Goicoechea’s workshops are situated in the village of Ossès, nestled between the dramatic Pyrenees mountains and the green valleys of the Basque Country.
The art of working with clay evolves constantly in the workshops of Poterie Goicoechea. The feeling of work well done, the rigour and the patience would be nothing without the desire to create, to discover and to refine new techniques.
It is from this perpetual movement that are born the shapes, colours and textures, that
are for some, already iconic pieces in the Goicoechea collection.
The title «Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant» (Living Heritage Company) bestowed by the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and Finances is proof of the perfect balance between Traditonal Craftsmanship and Constant Innovation.
