Precast intermediate safety slabs are horizontal pieces in reinforced concrete that create an intermediary plane at the total height of the manhole, thus providing a safety element in the event of any possible fall. The access hole to the concrete manhole base is 600 mm so the direction of descent into the manhole can be changed.
In addition to joints with elastomeric sealing gaskets, every safety slab also has various pins to facilitate transport, loading and unloading and the positioning of the concrete manhole bases on-site, providing greater speed, agility and safety in the execution.
The methods used to manufacture these intermediate safety slabs and the use of high quality materials fully guarantee the quality, durability and function of these products. These pieces will have two mat reinforcements in the form of a slab that guarantees suitable mechanical resistance.
