High performance acoustic absorber
Protective grid protects panel from damage
Significantly better performance than others
Easy to install on any wall or ceiling
The Primacoustic End-Zone™ is a purpose-built acoustic panel developed specifically to address the problems associated with sound abatement in gymnasiums, hockey arenas and other spaces where damage from balls, hockey pucks or other projectiles is likely to occur.
The design begins with a full size 2" thick (5cm) Broadway high-density 6lb glass wool panel measuring 24" x 48" (60cm x 120cm). Unlike porous hardboard panels that are frequency band-limited, the Broadway delivers full broadband absorption from 200Hz and up. Each panel is 100% encapsulated with micromesh and edges are resin treated to retain the minute fibers during handling. The panel is then covered in a choice of black, beige or grey polyester tweed fabric carefully selected to integrate with most architectural demands. This durable coat is easy to clean and will last years without fading.
To protect the panel from damage, the End-Zone features a heavy 12 gauge (2mm) galvanized steel grid cage that fully surrounds the acoustic panel to shield it from projectiles. This ensures the panel will be protected from damage and lengthen its lifespan. Installation is made easy with pre-attached mounting hardware. The End-Zone steel grid comes standard in a natural galvanized finish and may be special ordered in choice of black or white enamel.
