Promat®-SYSTEMGLAS F1-60 is a type of laminated glass consisting of ESG-glass panes, between which a layer of fire resistant gel is placed. In case of fire it represents highly efficient insulation that prevents inflammation of flammable materials on the side opposite of the fire. It is necessary to request and comply with the “Additional requirements and instructions for transport, installation and storage”. It is not possible to test fire resistance of the glass itself. Tests must be performed on the glazed assembly. The glazed assembly is described in detail in the official classification report. Applications: Promat®-SYSTEMGLAS F1-60 is used for fire resistant glazing consisting entirely of glass, of EI 60 fire resistance class. Promat®-SYSTEM GLASS F1-60 enables new methods of construction, which cannot be realized with the conventional multilayer fire resistant glass. By using ESG-glass high safety requirements are met. Storage: • PROMAGLAS®-F1 glass must be stored in an upright position indoors, sheltered from the elements. • The corners must be protected from bumps and impacts. • The edges of the glass must not be exposed to water or aggressive substances.
