Breathability When we apply proPERLA®, the coated tiles become breathable and permeable to water vapour. This means that moisture won’t get trapped within the tiles and is released into the air without difficulty. Just 5% of moisture trapped in the tiles can reduce the roof’s thermal resistance to weather effects by up to 50%. Super-Hydrophobic Applying proPERLA® achieves that, when rain falls on the tiles, they won’t get wet.
