Inspired by modernist architecture and repetitive, unobstructed construction techniques known since mid-century, the Chicago sideboard collection is defined as a tribute to this particular architectural period. With its light, floating appearance, the sideboard almost looks like a piece of modern architecture in itself. The raised solid steel construction provides stability, while the wooden body adds the spatial impression. The table top that functions as a floating roof with its extended eaves completes the minimalist frame that combines three simple natural materials, wood, steel and stone.
