The woods used in “briccole” (mooring posts) such as European and American oak and chestnut, have a very diverse range of shades, which is why you get in the drawings pleasantly heterogeneous shades and wood grains. The floor, that is the result of several processing stages, is a product of high quality and value, in accordance with the “Made in Italy” creations. The surface is pre-oiled and the signs of shipworms, that shape the material as if they were real sculptors, are only partially plastered, as they give the product a unique and distinctive "brand". Laying is with glue and the azure colour, all-present in the elements, is the result of the nails inserted into the briccole. Genuine handicraft product , in which the man is not the only performer, but also the nature, confirms its value in each fragment, with a unique history.
