These popular retrofit downlights are ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications. Models are offered in both 4” (8W) and 6” (8W, 11W, and 14W), with round or square trims, and in five color temperatures. Both shapes are available with baffled trims, and round are also available with smooth trims. Economy that performs. A diffusion lens creates smooth, uniform light that reduces glare without sacrificing lumen output, and 90+ CRI versions are available for accurate color rending (California Title 20 and JA8 compliant). All models are dimmable to 5% with most standard TRIAC dimmers (120V). We make it easy. Our low-profile design makes them compatible with most recessed housings, and installation is quick and easy, with friction clips for 4” cans, and torsion springs for 5”/ 6” cans. All models also include an Edison base adapter (GU24 socket string available). Anywhere you want it. All models are suitable for use in dry, damp and wet locations, making them perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. Stock up on cans. RAB carries 4” and 6” recessed housings in both new construction and remodeler models. All housings are IC rated for direct contact with insulation, and compatible with our retrofit downlights. Trim inserts. RAB’s trim inserts are simple, field-configurable accessories that can be ordered separately. All models are designed with tabs that fold over the trim of standard, white 4" or 6" recessed retrofit downlights.
