Weathervanes are manufactured from beaten and welded mild steel with hand forged scrollwork. Then each weathervane is shot blasted, hot zinc sprayed, primed and then polyester powder coated to ensure longevity. Copper weathervanes are three dimensional and are treated to give a natural verdigris finish. Directionals are made from brass. Finials are manufactured from GRP (glass reinforced plastic) and are securely fixed to the turret with a threaded bar and laminated into position.
